US man tied up and shocked a boy with autism with a car battery charger

A Kansas man has been arrested after he allegedly tied up a fifteen year old boy with autism and shocked him with a car battery charger.

Fifty eight year old, Robert McDowell, on Saturday reportedly approached the boy at gunpoint.

McDowell abducted the boy placing him in a nearby garage where he was then bound both his neck and wrists using the boy’s shoelaces. McDowell attached a battery charger to his ears and electrocuted him.

Police said that there were black marks on the boy’s ears and that they were bleeding.

In August, McDowell reported his wallet stolen. Police believe that McDowell thought the boy had robbed him.

McDowell was arrested on charges of aggravated battery with a firearm, abduction and kidnapping.
