Ahmet Davutoglu, the Turkish Prime minister, believes the Islamic state group is the prime suspect behind the bombings in Ankara that killed nearly one hundred people.
While no group has claimed responsibility for the horrific incident that injured over four hundred people, the government said that they are confident two male suicide bombers detonated their devices at the peace rally.
Organizers of the protest said that the death toll was one hundred and twenty eight people while the government reports ninety seven people killed.
According to Davutoglu, DNA testing is being used to identify at least one of the suicide bombers. He believes once these results are concrete they will be able to say for certainty which group carried out this brutal attack.
The bombing of the peace rally in Ankara is the deadliest in the country’s modern history.
