Pakistan executed ten people, including four brothers

Pakistani prison officials said that ten convicts, including four brother have been hung on Tuesday.

 

Over Two hundred and fifty executions have taken place in the country since December .

 

Human rights organizations have reiterated that the majority of these executions are people convicted of criminal offenses.

 

While Pakistan lifted the moratorium on the death penalty as a response to terrorist violence, none of the ten people executed on Tuesday were convicted of terrorism related offenses.
