Footage believed to be from the Philippines shows a group of men and woman rescuing a newborn baby, with its umbilical cord still attached, from a black plastic garbage bag.

A woman in a pink tracksuit is seen carefully removing the baby out of the trash bag and wrapping the newborn in a piece of cloth.

The baby who was found in the bag along with its placenta is believed to have survived the horrific ordeal.
