Two human rights workers killed in Afghanistan

Afghan officials on Monday said that two employees of the Afghanistan Independent Human Rights Commission were killed after a bomb detonated along the roadside hitting their vehicle in the Nangarhar province.

Authorities said that six other employees were injured in the explosion.

Police said that all the employees were on their way to work at the time of the horrific incident.

Authorities said that no one has claimed responsibility for the attack but Rafiullah Bedar, the rights commission spokesman strongly believes that the Taliban is to blame.
