Authorities in Greece reported that a toddler’s body was pulled out of the waters off the shores of the Island of Lesbos in the Aegean Sea on Saturday.
The coast guard said that the boy, who is believed to be two or three years old, was wearing an orange life vest on top of his clothing.
According to authorities at the coast guard no information about any missing children had been reported throughout the day.
Without being able to confirm the identity of the child, authorities said that the toddler could have possibly drowned before Saturday.
Officials said that an autopsy will be performed on the child.
