An estimated fifty people killed and scores injured in less than twenty four hours in Nigeria

In less than twenty four hours, an estimated fifty people were killed and scores injured in multiple attacks in Nigeria.

 

On Wednesday, two female suicide bombers, one as young as eleven years old,  blew themselves up outside a busy marketplace in Kano killing at least sixteen people less than one day after thirty four people were killed in city of Yola late Tuesday during an explosion.

 

Authorities said that while no one took responsibility for the attacks, they bore are the hallmarks of Boko Haram.

 

According to The Global Terrorism Index, Boko Haram ranks as the world’s deadliest terrorists organization leaving more than twenty thousand people dead and displacing over two million people.
