Two Virginia men who stole a car that was parked outside of a Norfolk post office found an eight year old boy in the back seat of the vehicle.
Police said the vehicle was left running when the carjackers got into the car outside of the post office. After finding the boy in the back seat of the stolen Chevy Impala the men asked the boy, “Where do you go to school?”
The boy was dropped off at Ghent Elementary School where police found the child safe in his classroom.
Police did not say whether charges would be brought against the mother for leaving the child inside of the vehicle alone.
