Over ninety people have been killed and more than a hundred people are missing following a landslide at a jade mine in Burma.
Authorities said that on Saturday, Kachin villagers who had been sifting through a mountain of rubble and waste were either killed or went missing during the disaster.
the Myanmar Red Cross, the army, police and local community groups have launched a rescue operation in attempts to dig people out of the earth.
Authorities said that it is unclear what caused the collapse of the rubble and waste material.
