One person was killed and over thirty three others injured including three women and eighteen children on Monday when a suicide bomber walked up to a pickup truck and blew himself up in Kabul, Afghanistan.
Police said that the attack was in a densely populated civilian area destroying a minibus and blowing out the windows of stores nearby.
Eighteen children studying in a madrasa were injured by glass flying from shattered windows.
Kabul deputy police chief, Gul Agha Rohani, told reporters that the bombing occurred near Kabul airport and that they were finding out more details.
In a statement released by the Taliban, the suicide attack was to target a bus used to transport Americans and Europeans from a military base to the airport.
