Man evicted from a homeless shelter in Philadelphia kills one employee and injures another

Authorities said on Sunday that a man who was evicted from a homeless shelter in Philadelphia returned with a gun shooting and killing one employee and injuring another.

 

Police said that the man was evicted on Friday night from the Station House Transitional Shelter in north Philadelphia after breaking the rules by being intoxicated.

 

After an argument with one the shelter employees,  the man pulled out a gun and open fired.

 

One employee died at the scene of the incident while the other was taken to a local hospital.

 

Police are still searching for the gunman.
