Four people were killed and two others critically injured in a school shooting in the Canadian Province of Saskatchewan.
Witnesses described students screaming and running after nearly a dozen shots could be heard.
Police said that they have arrested a suspect in a shooting that occurred at the La Loche Community School.
Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau said in a statement that, “The country’s heart is breaking”.
La Loche is an aboriginal community of about three thousand people and roughly nine hundred students attend the La Loche Community School.
Officials have given no details about the victims in what is Canada’s most horrific school shooting since 1989.
