An undisclosed number of masked men in Stockholm have been arrested after passing out leaflets that threaten to punish north African roaming street children.
Police said that the men that have been detained gathered together “with the purpose of attacking refugee children”.
Swedish newspaper Aftonbladet reported that an estimated one hundred masked men marched into central Stockholm on Friday to hand out the leaflets carrying the signs that read, “It’s enough now” and “they deserve punishment”.
Authorities believe that the masked men are part of gangs who carry ties to Stockholm football teams.
The march is believed to be in response to the murder of twenty-two-year-old, Alexandra Mezher. Mezher was stabbed to death by a fifteen-year-old asylum seeker on Monday at a refugee center children between the ages of fourteen and seventeen years old.
