Police in Norway said on Tuesday that they are investigating several cases of child sexual abuse at asylum seekers centers in the country.
The investigation stems from several reports filed with authorities throughout this last year.
Police said that the incidents include known sex offenders as well as current residents of the centers. Authorities said that they will review every case that was reported.
Investigators said that they are unable to provide many details at this time adding that they may be able to at a later date.
More than five thousand unaccompanied minors entered Norway last year applying for asylum.
