Witnesses said that at least thirty people, including children were killed by an unknown airstrike on a market in the Nehm region north-east of Sanaa,Yemen.
Local residents reported that another thirty people were injured citing that the majority of them were civilians.
Houthi rebels have accused the Saudi-led coalition of carrying out the airstrikes.
According to the United Nations over six thousand people have been killed in Yemen since fighting began last March. It is estimated that half of those killed have been civilians.
A report conducted by the UN and released last month indicated that the Saudi-led coalition targeted civilians with airstrikes in a “widespread and systematic” manner also using starvation against the civilian population as a war tactic.
According to several international human rights groups, more than twenty one million people are in dire need of humanitarian aid.
