Police in Indiana said a second pipe bomb exploded on the southeast side of the city in less than two weeks in what officials believe is purposefully targeting the criminal justice system.
Madison Police Chief, Dan Thurston told reporters the latest explosion happened early Wednesday in the driveway of the home of Jefferson County Superior Court Judge Mike Hensley leaving black marks behind.
On March 7 a pipe bomb exploded across the street from the Madison Police Department.
Authorities said that no one was injured in either explosion but they believe both are connected. Thurston said police see the bombings as a “directed threat to our criminal justice system”.
