Sixty-two killed in Russia after a FlyDubai plane crashed at the Rostov-on-Don airport

Four children were among sixty-two passengers killed aboard a FlyDubai boeing 737 that crashed at a southern Russian airport.

Officials said that they have ruled out terrorism as a cause of the crash at this time and believe weather conditions were most-likely responsible citing high winds and poor visibility.

Emergencies Minister, Vladimir Puchkov, said there were fifty-five passengers on board and seven crew members when the plane crashed at the Rostov-on-Don airport. There are no survivors.

The state-run Ria Novosti news agency reported that, “Different versions of the incident are being investigated, including crew error, technical failure, bad weather and other factors”.

Among those killed were forty-four Russians, eight Ukrainians, two Indians and one Uzbekistani.
