Muslim family wants apology after forceful removal from a United Airlines flight

A Muslim family is requesting an apology after forcefully being removed from a United Airlines flight last month at the Chicago O’Hare International Airport.

A YouTube video posted by the mother, Eaman- Amy Saad Shebley showed a flight attendant in a somewhat heated discussion about how to secure a child booster seat.

United Airlines claims that the removal of the family was solely about the child’s booster seat but the Council on American-Islamic Relations or CAIR said that Muslim looking passengers are removed from the flight for “the flimsiest of reasons”.

United said in a statement said that the family due to concerns about their child’s safety seat, which did not comply with federal safety regulations, was removeded and booked on a later flight.
