Thirty-six people killed in heavy rains in Pakistan

At least thirty-six people have been killed and dozens of others injured after heavy rain caused landslides and flash floods in the Kyber Pakhtunkhwa province of Pakistan.

Officials said the rooftops of dozens of homes collapsed adding that the worst-hit area was Kohistan, at which time, twelve deaths were reported.

Severe weather last year took the lives of eighty-one people living in poorly built homes and an estimated three hundred thousand people were left with damaged properties.
