Human Rights Watch: thirty thousand civilians flee fighting in forty-eight hours,Syria

Human Rights Watch said on Friday that at least thirty thousand civilians have fled fighting in northern Syria in the past forty-eight hours.

Residents of emergency camps set up along the border have fled to other camps or towns where civilians will remain in unsafe conditions.

According to the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs approximately twenty-three thousand displaced people have fled in close proximity to front lines and therefore extremely vulnerable to further escalations.
