A riot erupted in Cairo on Tuesday after a policeman shot three people during an argument, killing at least one person.
Witnesses said that the argument was over the price of a cup of tea adding that the police are intentionally killing Egyptians who are poor.
Protesters are demanding that the police hand over “the killer”. Police said the incident involved three officers who were quickly removed from the scene.
Authorities said they are investigating the shooting but activists said that police brutality continues to go without punishment.
